US dismisses Iran's claims on enriched uranium

The United States has dismissed Iran's announcement, saying it doesn't believe Tehran is capable of enriching uranium to the degree it claims.

Robert Gibbs, White House Press Secretary, said, "I think Iran has made a series of statements that are far more political than they are, they are based on politics not physics okay. The Iranian nuclear programme has undergone a series of problems throughout the year. Quite frankly what Ahmadinejad says, he says a lot of things, many of them turn out to be untrue."
