Twin suicide bomb attacks have killed at least 5 people and injured at least a dozen others in northwest Pakistan. The attacks targeted the building of a state-run airline in the city of Peshawar.

The blast occurred along a major road in a commercial area. Witnesses say two suicide bombers laden with 10 kilograms of explosives attempted to charge through checkpoints outside the airline building. They detonated explosives when officers stopped them. Police have cordoned off nearby areas and those wounded have been hospitalized. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. It is the second suicide attack during the past three days in Peshawar.
