In Indonesia, rescuers are racing against time to search for survivors as three days have passed since an earthquake jolted Sumatra island. Indonesian officials say the 7.6-magnitude quake left more than 700 people dead and 3-thousand still missing.

Hopes are fading of finding anymore survivors after Wednesday's earthquake, but rescue teams do not give up.

The operation made progress near this hotel in Padang on Saturday.

Officials say voices were heard buried underneath the Hotel. A survivor even sent a text message Friday saying he and others were alive.

Rescuers created a narrow tunnel to gain access inside the hotel.

Alex Pollack, US Rescue Worker, said, "Just a couple of hours ago, we were able to find the conference room where around 40 people were trapped. We were able to go in there, we found basically one victim still... already passed away there. We are now looking to follow up the corridor where people had exited the room and basically looking for people who were heading out of the building there."

Earlier Friday, a story of hope came from a collapsed school. Rescuers pulled out a teenager and a teacher still alive from under the rubble.

19-Year-Old School Survivor, said, "We were in class, when suddenly the earthquake struck. At first there was a small tremor, but it got bigger and bigger and everyone ran out of the classroom."
