South Korea has confirmed that the DPRK will free four fishermen detained last month after their boat accidentally strayed into northern waters.

The South Korean Unification Ministry, said the fishermen and their vessel will be handed over to the south, on the East Sea border at five PM on Saturday.

The group was detained on July 30th when their boat crossed over to the DPRK's East Sea waters due to malfunction in its navigational system.

The announcement, came hours after the two Koreas, agreed to hold a new round of reunions next month, for families separated since the Korean War - the first in nearly two years.
