    Check out the hand-drawn maps and the hiking bulletin board in forest cafe, they offer practical information on many different trekking routes around the area. It's definitely recommended going with a local guide on those hiking trips because of the language barriers and the crude conditions of many off the beaten tracks. A couple bars and cafes offer similar services as does the Forest cafe, but Sarah proudly told me that her place is written into the travel bible of many western backpackers 鈥搕he lonely planet.

    For only ten Yuan, a motor taxi took us to the starting point of our trekking.
