Meanwhile, rescuers have sent food and water to trapped miners in a coal mine in northern China. The 153 miners have been trapped for almost 6 days in the Wangjialing Coal Mine in Shanxi Province.

Rescuers are racing against time to help them, after hearing signs of life on Friday afternoon.

Boxes of glucose are waiting to be sent underground.

Medical workers are also on stand-by 24-hours a day, to deal with any emergencies.
