The EU's Foreign Affairs Chief has condemned Israel's decision to continue with its settlement plan in Jerusalem. She says it only hampers the peace process.
Catherine Ashton, EU's Foreign Affairs Chief, said, "I think you will be aware that the EU, together with other quartet members, has condemned the latest decision by Israel to advance the planning for in East Jerusalem."
During a joint news conference with Ashton on Wednesday, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said demands to stop Jews building in East Jerusalem were "totally unreasonable."
