NATO eyes closer ties with China, India

The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance wants to deeper cooperation with China.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen told the Munich Security Conference NATO should develop closer security partnerships with China, India and Russia.

The three-day conference gathered high-ranking officials from around the world to discuss issues such as Iran's nuclear program and Afghanistan security.

Speaking at the end of the Munich Security Conference, Anders Fogh Rasmussen stressed NATO's need to tackle global security threats in cooperation with major international players.
