Haitian elections postponed

Haitian President Rene Preval has announced the country's legislative elections will be postponed because of the January 12th earthquake.

Haitians were scheduled to go to the polls on February 28th but no new date has been set. Preval said he won't seek to extend his term, when his tenure ends early next year.
