United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has made an emotional visit to his staff's devastated headquarters in Haiti. He also delivered a message of hope to the country's earthquake victims.

Right beside the ruins of the United Nation's mission headquarters in Port-au-Prince, Ban Ki-moon received a UN flag from a Haitian staff member.

Ban Ki-Moon, UN Secretary-General, said, "I am very saddened to have seen all this destruction- has cost the Untied Nations and our dear colleagues. But I believe that their dearest wish would be that we carry forward."

The UN's mission headquarters collapsed last Tuesday following the devastating earthquake.
