A Folk Arts Temple Fair has opened in Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai.

A Folk Arts Temple Fair has opened in Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai.

The display of antique objects from old Shanghai transport visitors to a bygone era. The fair is laid out in six makeshift old Shanghai architectures, with qipao-clad Shanghai women riding rickshaws in between. The photos, and old Shanghai makeup have brought back memories of many Shanghai visitors.

Old thermos bottles, sewing machines, radio sets and bicycles, which used to be four essentials for a wedding in the 1970s, reflect vast changes in a Shanghai family.

The temple fair is expected to run for two weeks.
