Ethnic singer Li Junfeng releases album in Shanghai

A singer from Yi ethnic minority is making music from southwest China more popular, with the release of his album in Shanghai. Tenor Li Junfeng's album is dedicated to his hometown and to the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China.

The collection of 21-songs includes the title track "the Love of my Country", and odes to his hometown in Yunnan province, "Red Earth Plateau" and "Watching Sunrise at Xiang Ba La"... two of Li Jungfeng's signature songs. The tenor has won numerous awards both at home and abroad, and has held dozens of solo concerts in China and abroad.
