A huge parade was just finished in Moscow's Red Square, marking the 60th anniversary of the Allied victory over Nazi Germany.

Chinese President Hu Jintao is among the 53 world leaders who've joined Russian President Vladimir Putin for the military parade, past Lenin's tomb. Thousands of Red Army survivors paraded across Red Square in World War Two vehicles after Putin delivered a speech celebrating the end of the war and voiced his concern over current conflicts. Later today, Putin and the visiting heads of state laid flowers at the tomb of the unknown soldiers outside the Kremlin wall before assembling for a photo opportunity. The Soviet Union fought 80 percent of the German Fascist forces in Europe's main war theater. During World War II, which Russians call the "Great Patriotic War", the Soviet Union lost an estimated 27 million people.
