China, DPRK vow to enhance cooperation

BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) pledged to enhance their cooperation hereon Wednesday.

    A reception was held here Wednesday evening by the DPRK embassy to China to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the DPRK.

    Addressing the reception, Ismail Tiliwaldi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, said that China-DPRK good neighborly and friendly cooperation has been strengthened with joint efforts of both countries during the past 60 years.
