DPRK's top legislator meets Japanese journalists: KCNA

PYONGYANG, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), met and held talks with a visiting delegation of Japan's Kyodo News agency on Thursday, the official KCNA news agency said.

The one-sentence dispatch said Kim met with Satoshi Ishikawa, president of the Kyodo News, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall, giving no details of the talks.

The Kyodo News delegation arrived at Pyongyang on Tuesday and took part in a series of events marking the 61th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK held in Pyongyang.
