TEHRAN, July 15 (Xinhua) -- An Iranian passenger plane crashed near the country's northwestern city of Gazvin and all people on board were feared killed, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Iran's English-language satellite channel Press TV quoted Gazvin police chief as saying that the 150 people on board were "most probably" dead.
Another report by the state TV IRIB website said that the plane which encountered the accident eleven minutes after take-off and 70 miles from Tehran had 168 people on board.

The exact location of the air crash was near Farsian village, 6km to the south of Gazvin city, according to IRIB.
The Russia-made Tupolev passenger plane had been travelling from Tehran to the Armenian capital of Yerevan, Press TV said.
The plane was completely destroyed and its wreckage was in flames, the report said.
