Juve was under great pressure, after failing to win in 5 straight games. Meanwhile, AC Milan had won 5 in a row. Juve's players were clearly more inspired and created more opportunities for the team.

Scoreline remained 0-0 at the end of the first half.

Second half, 56th minute, Fillipo Inzaghi's long pass found Massimo Ambrosini, Ambrosini missed, but Clarence Seedorf was there to follow up for the score. Milan took a 1-0 lead.

In the 59th minute, Milan's lead last three minutes, when Vincenzo Iaquinta sent in a header. Scoreline leveled at 1-1.

Neither team scored for the rest of the match. Milan's Giusseppe Favalli drew a red card before full time.
