Special Report:   Harbin 24th Winter Universiade

HARBIN, Northeast China, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- All 160 samples tested so far at the Harbin Winter Universiade returned negative, a senior official from world university sports governing body FISU said Friday.

Leonz Eder, assessor of FISU Executive Committee told a press conference that a total of 170 participants will be tested during the 10-day Universiade, which will conclude Saturday.

"We have so far conducted 160 tests, all samples returned negative results," he said.

Cheng Zhiyu, an official from medical commission of the Harbin Winter Universiade Organizing Committee, said seven doping control stations are set up in competition venues to collect samples, which are tested in the Beijing lab.
