Fomer MotoGP champions Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden unveiled their 2009 season racer. The two Ducati drivers looked forward to the new season on the new bike.

Stoner and Hayden were in the Italian ski resort Madonna di Campiglio. The bike was rolled out with the stunning backdrop of the snow mountains. The new racer features dynamic red color and cool model. The GP9 is a radical departure for Ducati, with the V-4 engine surrounded by a carbon-fibre frame rather than the trademark Ducati bird cage. The two drivers appeared very happy to ride it in the new season.

Casey Stoner, Ducati, said, "With the new livery, we haven't had much time to look at it but it's going to be something new to look out for next year. We've also changed a few things in the fairing as well to make it look a little bit different and, of course, underneath it's got a carbon-fibre chassis so it's going to be very interesting for this next year and we're just going to have to see what we can do with it."

Nicky Hayden, Ducati, said, "I love the bike, so just sitting here being around it makes me want to ride it. We have to wait a few more weeks till our next test in Malaysia but, yes, I can't wait."
