Marksman David Kostelecky has given the Czech Republic its second gold medal in two days on the firing range at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

He won the men's trap shooting championship on Sunday afternoon, topping the table with 146 points.

The silver medal went to Giovanni Pelliello of Italy, who scored 143 points in the final round. Russia's Alexey Alipov claimed the bronze medal with 142 points after upending 2004 winner Michael Diamond of Australia in a shoot-off.
