The Olympic flame was lit at the top of world, and thanks to technology, the historical moment has been captured.

A cloud with a thickness of about 30 meters is seen hovering the top of Mount Qomolangma. The wind must have been very weak, judging from the thickness of the clouds. Weather was a major concern, but fortunately, the conditions were very good for the ascent.

At 8,300 meters high, the top of Mount Qomolangma remains mostly hidden in the clouds. And, because of that, the Olympic flame couldn't be seen that clearly from an aerial point of view.
