A great summer time experience for a couple of thousand kids in Shanghai. For movie goes summer is coming to a Flashpoint.

Two of Asia's most successful actors, Donnie Yen and Louis Koo are teamed up again. This time they're in "Flash Point" an explosive gangster tale. The pair previously collaborated on the romantic comedy 'Love on the Rocks' and last year's martial arts drama 'Dragon Tiger Gate'. Now, the duo are back generating more on screen excitement.

The duo's latest adventure is about a police agent who battles a powerful gang of criminals.

Koo plays an undercover mole called Wilson.

Louis Koo began his career as a model. He dabbled in music before turning to acting. After mixing film and television work, the Chinese actor focused on the big screen. His role in the critically acclaimed "Election 2" won him the Most Beloved Actor Award at the 2006 Hong Kong UA Film Awards.

Louis Koo said, "I am an actor. The most important is to play my role right. It doesn't matter whether they with or without action scenes. If you don't play it right, it's all wasted. I care about good scripts and strong characters and I don't care about the other things that much."

The multi-talented Donnie Yen is the action choreographer for 'Flash Point'. He's also taken on that role in "Stormbreaker," a U.K. based action film.

Donnie Yen said, "I wish I could be with my wife and family for my birthday every year. I have a film released each summer. I probably will have another film next year. But it doesn't matter. An audience watching my film is the most important thing."

Yen is the son of martial arts master Bow Sim Mark. He spent his early years in Boston, Mass. When he was 18 he was invited to Beijing for kung-fu training. That led to a meeting with internationally acclaimed action choreographer Yuen Woo-ping. Yen started his acting career a year later.

His breakthrough role was in the martial arts film 'Once Upon a Time in China II.' His climactic fight scene against Jet Li won him a lot of praise. Since then he has appeared in 'Hero', 'Seven Swords' and a few other films. In the meantime he's also taken on roles as director and producer of several films.
