The Hong Kong International Film Festival rolled out the red carpet on Tuesday for the first annual Asian Film Awards. South Korean movie "The Host" was the star of the night, walking off with four trophies, including "Best Film".
Stars attending the glamorous event included South Korean pop idol Rain, Hong Kong actors Tony Leung and Andy Lau, and Japanese actresses Mika Nakatani and Yoshino Kimura.
South Korean movie, "The Host", about a family that takes on a man-eating monster created by American pollution dominated the awards. It not only won best film, but also took the best actor award for leading man Song Kang-ho, best visual effects and best cinematography.
