The Beijing Tourism Bureau says that venues, including the "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube," will be open to the public. The venues will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ticket prices range from 20 to 50 yuan, with a pass that allows you to visit all the venues costing 100 yuan. But for other sites such as the Olympic Central Area which includes the Olympic Park, entry is free of charge. But visitors still need to get tickets issued by Beijing's Tourism Bureau.

Gu Xiaoyuan, Deputy Director of Beijing Tourism Bureau said "Tickets for the Olympic Central Area will be issued mainly to foreign tour groups and Beijing residents. But individual tourists can also pick up tickets in downtown hotels."

If visitors want to buy tickets to see venues such as the Bird's Nest, they can go to either one of the five ticket offices in Beijing. More than 7 million tourists are expected to visit Beijing during the upcoming National Day holiday, the first "golden week" holiday after the Olympics.
