To celebrate the 9th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, a huge party, "Cheer for China" will be held this weekend at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

The party has an all-star cast: Hong Kong stars like Andy Lau, Kelly Chen, Joey Yung, Eason Chan, Jordan Chen, Louis Koo, and mainland singers Tian Zhen, Sha Baoliang, Siqingerile, and movie star Li Bingbing set to attend. The party also includes an astonishing Shaolin Kungfu show and the aerial acrobatics of "Butterfly Incarnation".

Tian Zhen and Sha Baoliang appeared at a press conference held last week in Beijing. The duo will for the first time operate together to sing a new song for the party.

Tian, an avid football fan, admitted she has stayed up all night watching World Cup games recently. "The German football team is my favourite," she said, smiling: "I think the German players are manly men. Though some may be ugly up top, they're still captivating. "

Sha admitted he was not interested in the World Cup, and doesn't know much about football. A little shy about this, he added that he spent most time working on his new album, which will be ready by the end of this year.

Organized by CCTV, Hong Kong Wen Hui Po and Hong Kong Television Broadcast Limited, the party will be broadcasted by CCTV and TVB of Hong Kong on June 30. All the ticket income will be donated to Hong Kong Social Benefit Funds.
