How do CPPCC members feel about their advisory role in China's law-making process?

CPPCC member Chu Yaping said: "The non-communist parties do not only participate in policy-making process, but play a more important role in the country's political life. In many fields, our advice was given serious consideration by the Communist Party and much of it was accepted for the country's development."

CPPCC member Chen Xiaoguang said: "In recent years, our non-Communist Parties are playing an even more active role in participating in the country's policy-making process, and China sees a more expedient channel for our participation. I come here on behalf of those people and I don't feel any difference from the Communist Party members, I also have my commitment to fulfill."

CPPCC member Guo Guoqing said: "Compared with the past, the non-Communist Party members have a stronger sense of participation in politics. The government pays more attention to our suggestions and proposals, and many of our suggestions turned to be more practical and useful in China's policy making process. The areas that the non-Communist Parties influence are also expanding with time."
