China rejects report on border talks

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu rejects a report from Hong Kong about China-India border talks, calling the report groundless. Hong Kong based Ming Pao newspaper reported Wednesday that China's position in border talks with India is that China would only possess 28 percent of the disputed territory.

Jiang Yu says China is willing to make joint efforts with India in the spirit of mutual understanding to seek a fair and mutually acceptable solution to the issue.
