Top political advisor Jia Qinglin met with Kuomintang Chairman Wu Poh-hsiung on Friday in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province.

Top political advisor Jia Qinglin met with Kuomintang Chairman Wu Poh-hsiung on Friday in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province.

Jia praised Wu's contribution to cross-Strait ties, and delivered greetings from President Hu Jintao.

He said cross-Strait ties have been continuously developing since May last year, benefiting people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Wu Poh-hsiung said relations are developing in the right direction, and are supported by people on both sides.
