Imam Yin Guofang serves at Niujie Mosque -- Beijing's largest. As a Muslim, he was disturbed to hear about the violent incident in Xinjiang. The Imam called on all Muslims to help safeguard social stability and peaceful development of the country.

Yin Guofang, IMAM of Niujie Mosque, said, "Islam is a religion of peace and Muslims are people who advocate peace. The incident in Xinjiang should be condemned. It is not in line with the teachings of Islam. We Muslims firmly oppose such violent behavior. "
