Russia sends military satellite into space

Russia successfully put three military satellites into orbit early Monday. A spokesman for Russia's Space Forces said a single rocket carrying three Cosmos-series satellites was launched in northwest Russia.

The satellites obtained their targeted orbits by 7:10 a.m. Moscow time.
