Iran's Guardian Council has declared dispute over recent presidential elections over, after recounting 10 percent of the ballots on Monday.

The top legislative body's spokesman, Abbas Ali Kadkhodai, said complaints about the presidential vote were no longer being considered.

The Guardian Council approved results from the June 12th presidential elections on Monday, confirming the re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

On June the 13th, Iran's Interior Ministry announced that Ahmadinejad had won more than 60 percent of the ballots, with his main rival Mir-Hossein Mousavi getting just over 33 percent. All defeated candidates have filed complaints about irregularities in the election.
