Los Angeles police say they do not consider Michael Jackson's doctor a suspect despite having questioned him about the pop idol's fatal cardiac arrest.

Late on Saturday, police interviewed cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray for a second time. The doctor was hired ahead of Jackson's comeback concert series in London in July.

The police say Dr. Murray was cooperative and provided information that will aid the investigation.

Reports say Jackson was injected with a painkiller before he went into cardiac arrest, and Murray was trying to revive him when paramedics arrived.

The Los Angeles Times reports that police found "no red flag"indicating criminal activity, or the cause of death.

Murray's lawyers say he helped police "identify the circumstance around the death and clarified some inconsistencies."

Jackson's father, Joe Jackson says he doesn't believe stress over the intense series of comeback concerts caused the death.
