Iran's Guardian Council says it will set up a special commission to draft a report on the June 12th presidential election. The commission will include political and social figures, as well as representatives of candidates who are protesting over the results.

The Guardian Council has invited candidates Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi to introduce their representatives for the commission within 24 hours.

The recount of 10 percent of the vote will be done in the presence of the commission, as well as the media. The result will be made public.

The official IRNA news agency earlier quoted the Guardian Council spokesman Abbasali Kadkhodai as saying the 10th presidential election on June the 12th was the healthiest one held in the country since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

The spokesman said they "didn't see any fraud in the election", and there were only some minor irregularities "that are usual in every election."

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday accepted the Guardian Council's request to extend the deadline for the investigation into the complaints over vote irregularities by 5 days.
