Wang Yi said, "This is not just a win-win situation for the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, but also for the people on both sides. Cross-Strait ties will continuously develop only when we adhere to win-win situation."
During his eight-day tour, Wu Poh-hsiung visited Beijing, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Nanjing. Although his tour was hasty, Wu said he was glad to strengthen cross-Straits ties.
Wu Poh-hsiung said, "People want us to cooperate and benefit each other. I believe that more and more people in Taiwan will support this based on their own experience."
Officials from the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China will meet in July in Changsha. Their discussion will focus on culture and education.
