Officials say the bomb had been planted near the front gate of the market. It exploded as trucks carrying fruits and vegetables were waiting to enter with their goods on Monday. The same market was the scene of a car bombing last month that killed 15 people and wounded nearly 50.

Meanwhile, two journalists wounded in a car bomb on Sunday are being treated at a hospital in Baghdad. The cameraman and the sound engineer work with Iraqi state TV. A bomb attached to their car exploded in northern Baghdad.
