Iran's electoral watchdog has approved four candidates, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to run in the country's presidential election.

The other three are former Revolutionary Guards chief Mohsen Rezaei, and reformist candidates -- former Prime Minister Mir- Hossein Mousavi and former Parliament Speaker, Mehdi Karroubi.

A total of 475 applicants registered their names for Iran's presidential election slated for June 12th.
