"Ballet is my work, while folk dance is my greatest pleasure." Born in the West Indies, and trained in ballet in England, Madam Dai Ailian is one of China's premier dance icons. At the age of 88, Madam Dai Ailian came to the "Up-Close" studio in June 2004, and told us her legendary life stories. This episode was aired on August 8, 2004.
