When you are in need of injection of some easy joy and laughter, come in to the dolphine park, built in 1995, it was the first one and still one of the best in China.
It is clear that the city is trying to convey the idea of living with art. Key elements of the city鈥攕ea, greens and buildings are incorporated harmoniously, decorated with sculptures everywhere. This sculpture garden in East part of the new town is a perfect example: full of sculptures inspired by human body, nature and history, adds some real artistic and human touch to the grand view.
Qingdao contributes the best known Chinese beer to the world since 1903. The Qingdao Beer City is the biggest in Asia and most lively during the summer, when International beer festival is held here. Over 10,000 people from both home and abroad are attracted to the 10-day long festival each year.
The festival is a truly paradise for beer lovers with something for everyone. The selection ranges from some bitters from local brewers to some excellent cider, perry and beers from European and North American lagers.
To cater for the growing influx of visitors, many new hotels built outdoor dinning space with sea view. In such a beautiful setting, anything looks like delicacy! Forget sharks fin or oysters, Qingdao locals favorite razor clams, and shrimp!
Qingdao's limited nightlife creates unlimited chances for mingling. Swanky cocktail fans and proletarian beer drinkers find themselves sharing the same space and the same taste of music, and equally much fun!
