The officers of the Chinese Athlete Association and Shanghai Sports Bureau joined the discussion, along with Liu Xiang's coach Sun Haiping. Huashan Hospital Sports Medicine director Professor Chen Shiyi analyzed Liu Xiang's recovery so far.

Sun Haiping updated officials on Liu's current training plan. The discussion mainly focused on when Liu can resume hard training on the track. The decision will be announced at a press conference on Tuesday morning at the Xinzhuang Training Base.
