Over in France, Girondins Bordeaux thrashed Sochaux 3-0 at home on Sunday. The result saw Bordeaux move level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Marseille.

7 minutes into game: Bordeaux lead 1-0, Mathieu Chalme floated in a cross from deep on the right.19-year-old Gregory Sertic composed himself well to swivel on the spot before firing in a low shot.

Less than 10 minutes later: Bordeaux doubled their advantage 2-0. Again Chalme was the provider, curling the ball into Yoann Gourcuff, who rose above to head the ball home.

81st minute: Sochaux reduced to ten men. Radiu Afolabi was shown his second yellow card of the match after a careless challenge on Marouane Chamakh.

3 minutes into stoppage time: Bordeaux seal 3-0 victory. Marouane Chamakh nodded in a Benoit Tremoulinas cross to complete the win.
