San Antonio Spurs faced off against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night and were looking to level their playoff series after losing their opener.

Spurs' Tony Parker had a good start. Hi speed saw him put away five consecutive points despite some strong defense from the Mavs.

Dallas' Eric Dampier tried to cut back the deficit. He contributed four consecutive points in the field.

Parker continued to do a good job, scoring 19 points in the first quarter alone. He helped San Antonio to dominate the match and take the momentum, as his side opened up a 30-19 lead by the first break.

The Dallas attacks were weak at the best of times in this match, but their defense even worse. The Mavs tried to shut Parker down in the second half, but some great assists from Tim Duncan left Dallas virtually powerless. Spurs eventually took the match 105-84 over Dallas, to even the series at 1-1.

Meanwhile Boston Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 118-115 to even their Eastern Conference playoff series at 1-1 on Monday.
