Special Report:   Harbin 24th Winter Universiade

The 24th Winter Universiade will conclude on Saturday night in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. After holding the event successfully, the city has now set its sights on holding a Winter Olympics in the future. Cheng Youdong, the executive vice president of the organizing committee was quite confident of this prospect.

Cheng Youdong, Executive vice president of 24th Winter Universiade Organizing Committee, said, "The 2010 Winter Olympics is in Vancouver then it is in Sochi. The earliest Winter Olympics we can bid for is the 2018 Games, which is nine to ten years away. Depending on our speed of development, I am quite confident about our goal."
