What are they trading? Athletes have been gathering at a random hot spot in the Paralympic village and have turned it into a market where collected pins, bags and clothing items are being traded. Some athletes have exchanged their uniforms to others from different delegations. Many are also attracted to the "market" just out of curiosity.

Not far is an Olympic authorized store, which has attracted many athletes who want to buy some Olympic souvenirs and presents before leaving the capital. "Funiu" LeLe, is the most popular one, according to the salesman, who says that over 1000 Paralympic mascots get sold per day.

An estimated 100 airlines at Beijing's Capital International airport will take 3, 400 athletes home on Thursday.
