The Olympics may be over, but the Paralympics are around the corner with the torch relay getting underway. Thursday saw the flame lit in the Chinese capital, another inspiring moment for Beijing.

The Paralympic flame lighting ceremony was held in the Temple of Heaven, one of the city's most famous landmarks on Thursday morning.

Senior Chinese officials as well as international dignitaries attended the event.
