BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan Pamela Jelimo clocked 1:54.87 to win the Olympic women's 800m gold medal here on Monday.

Kenyan Janeth Jepkosgei Busienei timed 1:56.07 for the silver and Morocco's Hasna Benhassi got the bronze in 1:56.73.
