The 2008 Beijing Olympic women's trap shooting final saw Satu Makhela-Nummela of Finland outclass a strong field to take the gold medal with a final round score of 91 points on Monday afternoon.

Slovakia's Zuzana Stefecekova claimed the silver medal with 89 points.

The bronze medal went to 86 point scorer Corey Codgell of the USA, who survived an intense four-way shoot-off.
