VIENNA, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Spain's leading scorer David Villa will probably miss the final against Germany at Euro 2008 due to at high injury, coach Luis Aragones said after their 3-0 win over Russia on Thursday.

"Villa won't be playing in the final. He suffered a muscle strain," said the 69-year-old Spain coach.

Aragones later said he would await further assessment on an injury to Villa's right thigh before ruling out the striker altogether.

Villa is the leading scorer of Euro 2008 with four goals thanks to his hat-trick in the group match against Russia on June 10. He strained his thigh at the 35th minute and was replaced by Cesc Fabregas.

"At the start I was really upset because I knew it was going to be very difficult to play in the final if we got there. But after the way the team played in the second half I cheered up and now amreally happy despite everything." said Villa.
