ZURICH, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Turkey added one more to its already long list of injured and suspended players as defender Emre Gung Turkey defender Emre Gungor has been ruled out of the rest of Euro 2008 with a calf injury.
Gungor sustained the injury in Turkey's heroic 3-2 win over the Czech Republic on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Galatasaray defender was taken off after 63 minutes at the Stade de Geneve.
It was another blow to the Turkish team, who are preparing for Friday's quarterfinal clash with Croatia in Vienna.
The Turkish team is already without suspended goalkeeper Volkan Demirel and midfielder Mehmet Aurelio. Injured midfielder Tumer Metin will not recover in time from a groin injury. Servet Cetin is also a serious doubt and will be left to decide whether he can play or not.
Captain Emre Belozoglu is continuing treatment for a groin problem, but Nihat Kahveci, Semih Senturk, Ayhan Akman and Hakan Balta have all recovered from minor injuries.
