Special Report:   2008 European Championships

Italy's coach Roberto Donadoni is under some huge pressure from the media. All eyes will be on him as the man responsible for his side make it or break it second match against Romania.

The Italians were crushed 3-0 in their Euro 2008 opener against the Netherlands in Group C, and must now secure three points against Romania on Friday. Donadoni says Italy needs to score goals and win - starting on Friday.

Breaking with his tradition of refusing to name any changes to his side in advance, Donadoni admitted that defender Giorgio Chellini and his squad captain Alessandro del Piero will definitely start against the Romanians. But if Romania take another point or more, then it will come as no surprise if the Italian football association finds a way to give coach Donadoni the boot.

France look ahead to crucial clash with Dutch

For France, nothing less than victory is crucial following their lacklustre 0-0 draw against Romania in their opening match--- a prospect made even more daunting given the nature of the Netherlands 3-0 win over reigning World Champions Italy on Monday.

French coach Raymond Domenech has received a timely boost ahead of the game, with the return of talismanic midfielder Patrick Viera and prolific striker Thierry Henry - who both missed the start of the campaign because of injury.

The match has all the makings of a European Championship classic, with two of the powerhouses set to face each other in Switzerland.
