A confident Germany are looking to take a step closer to the Euro 2008 quarter-finals. They will take on Croatia in their second Group B match, to be played in Klagenfurt in Austria on Thursday.

The Germans went through their training session at the Worthersee stadium on Wednesday, knowing a win will give them top spot in the group. Germany and Croatia are tied on three points, though the Germans are on top on better goal difference. Coach Joachim Low is drawing a lot of reassurance from his team's impressive performance in the opening match and hopes they can continue the form.

Joachim Low, Germany Coach said "Yes, it is true that we created a certain self confidence inside the team. And the team showed that it is capable of implementing the concepts and our tactics and dictate the matches. And that combined with the good results gives us courage for the next matches."
